Registration of the attendance to CME activities only with membership cards

The Doctors Chamber of Republic of North Macedonia informs its members that starting from the year 2024, the attendance to all events (courses, workshops, professional meetings, symposiums and congresses) of continuous medical education (CME) shall be done entirely by using the memberships cards. This novelty is implemented in accordance with the Standing Committee of European Doctors (CPME) whose member is the Doctors Chamber. Procurement of card readers as well of a specific software has been made that enables transfer of the data directly into the computer system where records are kept. This procedure shall enable faster and more efficient registration of the attendance of the doctors to the CME activities and importing of the acquired points, without the excessive and unnecessary documentation. The doctors as well as the organizers shall not be obligated to deliver certificates nor lists of attendance, apart for those held online and for the international events.

In order to avoid a possible delay in the attendance registration, it is necessary that all doctors who have already been photographed, to obtain their membership cards. Although the Doctors Chamber has been repeatedly informing the public healthcare facilities through notes and announcements, to send an authorized person to gather the cards and deliver them to the doctors, this has still not been done by the following institutions:

1.        Public Health Institution University Clinic for Maxillofacial Surgery “Akademik Ilija Vaskov” - Skopje

2.        Public Health Institution Health Centre Makedonski Brod (the membership cards have been partially delivered)

3.        Public Health Institution Health Centre Strumica (the membership cards have been partially delivered)

4.        Public Health Institution Health Centre Kratovo (one membership card has been delivered)

5.        Public Health Institution Health Centre Kriva Palanka

6.        Public Health Institution University Clinic for Psychiatry - Skopje

7.        Public Health Institution University Clinic for Neurology - Skopje

The doctors who still haven’t been photographed need to do so in the photograph studio “Foto Toto” located on St. “Vladimir Komarov” no.18 facility no. 12 (opposite Tobako 2 – map). The working hours for photographing of doctors is every working day from 12 PM to 18 PM. You can obtain more information in this regard on the following telephone number 078/907-383.
