The professional development is organized and carried out by the Macedonian Medical Association, the professional associations that are members of Macedonian Medical Association and other professional organizations. Further, the Ministry of Health, the faculties of medicine, the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts, a clinic, an institute, a healthcare facility or other organizations in the area of health can also take the role of organizers of such events.
Procedure for approval and categorization of the professional activities for the organizers of CME
The Doctor’s Chamber carries out the accreditation process of the educational activities It requires the organizer to submit a Request for approval and categorization of the professional activity along with the supporting documentation prior the event.
The commission for medical issues within the Doctor’s Chamber, considers the request for approval and categorization of the professional activity, brings a decision for its approval and determines the number of CME points according to the Manual for CME. The Doctor’s Chamber signs a contract with the organizer of the professional activity which regulates the mutual rights and obligations.
